Join us for some crazy fun art with a class led by artist Jack Hamrick!
Students will engage in a dynamic sequence of lessons and activities that cover fundamental themes of color theory and composition elements. They will also examine the similarities and differences among artistic movements such as realism, impressionism, and expressionism. Instruction will be tailored to meet each student's individual needs. Each participant will learn to apply expressionist painting techniques using various media and create an original painting with acrylics, oils, and ink.
Jack Hamrick is an award-winning artist and a retired special education teacher who has extensively used art as an expressive and therapeutic tool for children with special needs.
Tuition is $400, includes two classes as follows:
June 16th: 8:30 am -12:30 pm
June 17th: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
